Cartoon Sunday: Foamy The Squirrel Rants About Bullies

How's it going my gumdrops? Yesterday, you may recall that I mentioned last week being rough both on and offline. In regards to cyber space, an Adult Swim poster "peacefully" died in his sleep, during the middle of last week. Some of his friends and other posters have been grieving over his death, whereas some choose to be malicious.

In fact, my number 1 slanderer on Adult Swim went as far as to name drop a racist troll, that he claims the dead poster was supposedly friends with. I don't know if that is really true, considering that it's coming from a slanderous poster, who continues to slander me on Adult Swim. When that dead poster was still alive last year, my slanderer called him "an asshole." Therefore, it's a matter of considering the source, which happens to be a highly glorified slanderer and megalomaniac with a God Complex.

This is along with the fact, that same glorified slanderer continues to down vote troll me and other Adult Swim posters. In case you have NOT already, I suggest reading last year's blog about why you should not join Adult Swim.

Why You Should NOT Join Adult Swim's Message Board

Since we're on the topic of Adult Swim, it has been confirmed that a new Seinen SciFi Action Anime called Dimension W will be replacing Akame ga Kill! on the network.

Toonami's Dimension W Promo (2016)

It will premiere next Saturday at 11:30 pm Central, which is right before Parasyte -The Maxim-. Right now, I cannot comment on Dimension W because I have not watched an episode of the series. However, the promo makes it appear to be interesting.

I just hope this new show is NOT complete hype. Adult Swim is skilled at pandering to a certain group of fans, which are Action Anime fans. I have said it before and will say it again, there is more to Japanese animation than Action Anime.

Hopefully, it's something worth watching because I really do NOT like every Action Anime Adult Swim airs. They have always been a hit or miss, whenever it came to airing shows in general. As of right now, I only know that Dimension W is being simulcasted both in Japan and here in the United States on Adult Swim. The series premiered in Japan on January 10, 2016 and it will premiere on Adult Swim on February 27th.

Since today's blog is mostly about Adult Swim, let's return to a previous topic. Earlier, I mentioned that I was being slandered on Adult Swim's forum by the same poster, who continuously down vote trolls me and shat in a dead poster's memorial thread.

That exact same poster is someone, who pretended to be my friend, when I originally joined Adult Swim nearly 2 years ago.

Last year, that Adult Swim poster was also a member of my website. After I removed him TWICE for lying, backstabbing, selling me out to his crazy so-called "friend" at the time, and getting me banned on Adult Swim, he attacked me through my contact submissions form and made libelous claims about me being another poster he's had problems with in the past.

My frenemy knows it's a bald face lie yet he continues to slander me around Adult Swim.

The worst part is that Adult Swim's moderators condone his trolling and slandering; There's mostly social politics on the network's message board, which is why so many have left. That's not including suicidal posters.

As much as I hate to say it, posters who know the truth and choose NOT to confront him about slandering me are just as guilty as he is. Some do want me to stay on Adult Swim but they don't act like it. If they did, they would show it.

Continuously slandering and anonymously down voting an adult poster on Adult Swim's forum is a perfect example of adult cyber bullying/trolling. Speaking of bullies, I have another Foamy The Squirrel short. In this short, Foamy The Squirrel rants about school bullies and gives unorthodox strategies about how to handle bullying.

It's Not All Gumdrops & Unicorns' 2nd Birthday: [Q&A Edition]

How's it going my gumdrops? Last week, you may recall that I added 2 of my older Q&A blogs to Blogger.

It's Not All Gumdrops & Unicorns: Q&A #2

This is my 3rd Q&A blog, that I published several months ago to celebrate It's Not All Gumdrops & Unicorns' 2nd anniversary. I still haven't decided if I will be doing another Q&A, during the early part of this year.

Even though it's not quite "Throwback Thursday," I have decided to share this 3rd Q&A blog for those who missed it. This Q&A blog was originally published on September 23, 2015.

It's Not All Gumdrops & Unicorns' 2nd Birthday: [Q&A Edition]

How's it going my gumdrops? Today, It's Not All Gumdrops & Unicorns turns 2! To celebrate its birthday, I am posting another Q&A blog. I meant to do more Q&A's earlier this year. Because there has been so much chaos on and offline, I haven't really made any time for more Q&A's until now. Anyway, let's get right to some of your questions!

Zombiefied35: When did you decide to create a blog? What do you do, when you're not blogging?

Answer: Shortly after graduating from Carthage College, while battling my own health scare in '06, I created a Yahoo 360 blog.

Sometimes my English Literature professor would use my blogs as another source of information for his Asian Heritage classes, that he taught. If Yahoo would NOT have discontinued Yahoo 360, I would've probably still been there.

In January 2013, I started blogging again except I was on Xanga 1.0. Within 1/2 year, I had about 50 subscribers and growing, until The Xanga Team screwed over everyone. The Xanga Team dumped their money issues into our laps and expected us to donate money to reach 60 grand.

Otherwise, Xanga would've been shut down. The catch was they would relaunch it as Xanga 2.0 and everyone would be required to pay.

This caused a huge divide among Xangans and most of us went our separate ways.

Before Xanga's shut down and pay to blog relaunch on WordPress, I managed to get 13 of my 50 friends and subscribers to follow me to Blogster. Blogster did seem great.

That was until I realized that most Blogsterians waste time throwing pissing contests over politics and cliques.

BTW: Blogster and Adult Swim rival each other with drama except Adult Swim is worse because we have no block features.

Months later, I began learning how to create my own website through Webs by watching YouTube tutorials. This was done, while I was working for my uncle's company. He wanted me to write the content for his website besides the usual requirements.

When I'm not blogging, I'm checking e-mails, notifications on stalkbook, juggling online social interaction, YouTubing, watching TV, watching missed shows on Hulu, etc.

Mimikoko: Which would you prefer to deal with, a zombie apocalypse or an economic collapse, and why?

Answer: Most people don't know that Horror has hidden messages and themes. This especially applies to political themes. I watched a Horror documentary a while ago.

If memory serves me right, zombies represent anarchy and rebellion.

As far as choosing a zombie apocalypse or an economic collapse, I would probably choose the economic collapse.

Having to kill zombies would probably lead to an economic collapse anyway because the world would be left in ruins.

Richard Blazey: Do you own a body pillow of Ichigo Kurosaki from Bleach?

Answer: No, but I wouldn't mind owning a body pillow of Grimmjow Jaggerjack.

Metalheart: How do you stay sane using the Internet? In 20 years, do you think the music industry will look anything like it does today?

Answer: Many times over the last several months to years, I have been told that you must have "thick skin" on the Internet. This is somewhat true to an extent.

Most people use the "having thick skin" statement as a justification for why they can be maggot pieces of shit on the ground to whoever they want, whenever they want.

Luckily for me, most websites I'm on have block features except Adult Swim. Sooner or later, I will post a blog about the differences between using social media sites and forums.

The best solution is to NOT give the haters what they want so badly. They want you to lose your cool so that they can play the victim card and paint you as the villain.

Meanwhile, I fear for the entertainment industry, especially when it comes to music. Self-righteous "political activists" have really been "trendy" these last 11 years. It's the main reason why I quit hosting my radio show in 2004.

To make matters worse, I am worried that there will be more dumbed down songs, that are worse than the talking fox. I believe that entertainment will become more dumbed down than it is, right now.

Anonymous Question: Do you regret joining Adult Swim?

Answer: Yes. Even though I managed to surprisingly make some friends, I CANNOT help regretting my decision to join Adult Swim's message board.

I do NOT hate everyone on ASMB. Although, I'm really disgusted with the fact, that someone I really valued, trusted, and considered to be a so-called "friend" was very quick to lie, backstab, set me up, sell me out, and slander me for his own cheap thrills.

This is besides him guilt tripping me into staying on a cartoon message board only to be used as a means to an end.

Russ' Questions:

1) Do you have any tattoos? Yes or no? Why?

2) What are your thoughts about tattoos on dark skinned people? Yes or no? Why?

Answers: No, I don't have any tattoos. I used to want them, when I was younger. I don't have any because I hate needles, tattooists don't always sterilize their needles, and tattoos have become too "trendy."

By the time I became a college student, nerds and preppie trust fund-brats had them. They were mostly people trying to prove, that they were "cool." Ugh!

I believe that tattoos really aren't as cool anymore because tattooing has been overdone.

Some of my nurses have tattoos, including Tramp Stamps.

3) LA now has a law that condoms must be used, while filming porn. What are your thoughts?

Answer: Considering that HIV and AIDS have existed for the last 3 decades, porn stars should've been using condoms, anyway. This is especially when they're having sex with multiple people.

IsolateX's Questions:

1) What method did you choose to learn Japanese?

Answer: I started learning Japanese in middle school, during 1995 at 12 years old. I took the language, throughout 7th-12th grade. By the time I was 20 years old, I started taking Japanese again and earned my degree in Asian Studies with an emphasis on the Japanese language.

I wanted to be a Japanese Consecutive Translator. If I wasn't battling a health scare before, during, and after graduating from Carthage College, I might have been able to study abroad at Tokyo University like I was supposed to do before graduating.

2) What influences the type of music you choose to listen to?

Answer: It really all depends on my mood at the time. When I was a teenager and in my 20's, I listened to more Metal because I was always angry. I was a lot angrier as a teenager. Metal was always for my own catharsis. Now, if I'm really stressed out, sometimes I relax by listening to Enya.

3) Do you have any artwork that you could display? That is if you've dabbled.

Answer: I do have some of my artwork, but most of it is somewhere in storage. If you ever have the opportunity, you should try experimenting with watercolor painting.

4) What is your ethnicity?

Answer: I am English, Irish, Italian, Australian, American Indian, Asian Indian, Arabian, African, French, Polish, etc. There's so many, I don't know the rest.

Just to let all my gumdrops know, there were a few more extra questions, that I never answered. Lately, I've been trying to decide if I should answer at least 1 or more of your questions in a blog regularly. These were some great questions.

Before I forget, I posted another blog on Blogger about fall shows, that I normally watch. In case you missed that blog, click on the link below.

Fall Shows That I'm Glad To See Returning

How's it going my gumdrops? I meant to give a blog review on Blogger about fall shows I regularly watch, earlier this year.

This year has been so chaotic and full of surprises in real life and in cyber space, that I never had the chance to give a review. Because this has been the case, I believe it's only fair to list the prime time shows, that I am glad to see returning this fall.

It appears that 2 of my favorite shows are running against each other, again. Now, I must choose 1 over the other to watch throughout the season on TV, which sucks for me. I will have less TV viewing hours. Anyway, let's get to my list of shows.

1) American Dad

I can't believe that Fox was so quick to dump this show. Based on what I have observed, most posters on Adult Swim seem to hate American Dad. Considering how extremely Liberal most of them are regarding politics, I expected more posters to like American Dad.

The cartoon is political satire, that mocks Conservatives. It seems like Americans have become so obsessed with being politically correct and self-righteous, that they have forgotten how to laugh at politics.

Well, at least TBS is airing it uncensored. So far, I see no date listed regarding the show's return. However, TBS did buy 2 more seasons.

2) Family Guy

This is another cartoon, that most Adult Swim posters seem to dislike these days. I've been watching Family Guy, since 1999. In '99, I was 17 years old. It's amazing how time flies.

Some posters have explained why they no longer enjoy watching Family Guy. Former fans have complained that the creator mostly recycles old episodes and re-writes history. I have to admit, some do have a valid complaint(s).

At the same time, I still enjoy watching Family Guy for its dark humor and pop-culture references. Most of us 30-somethings and older can identity with the cartoon for its pop-culture references. Family Guy returns on 9/27/15 at 8pm Central.

3) Fresh Off The Boat

I love this show. Fresh Off The Boat is the Asian American version of Chris Rock's old UPN show, Everybody Hates Chris but with a 1990's twist. Some Asian Americans took an offense to the title and consider it to be "racist" because it's not "politically correct."

Little do most people know, that the show is based off the memoir, Fresh Off The Boat. Even though I'm not Taiwanese, I can still identify with the protagonist, Eddie Huang. There are also '90s pop-culture references and he's supposed to be my age. I especially loved that both Brandon Lee and The Crow were acknowledged on Fresh Off The Boat.

Fresh Off The Boat returns TONIGHT at 7:30pm Central.

4) Grimm

For MONTHS, I have been waiting to see what will happen to Juliette on Grimm. Is she dead or is she not? That's what I want to know.

Last season, I was starting to enjoy watching Juliette embrace her Hexenbiest powers. Then, she became extremely malicious towards everyone. Trubel had to shoot Juliette, when she (Trubel) returned.

Throughout each season of Grimm, I never liked Juliette. She was always whining and her relationship with Nick was constantly on/off because he was a Grimm Cop. I would love to see Nick and Trubel as a couple. Sure, he's older than Trubel but it's not like she's underage. Just saying!

Grimm returns on Friday 10/30/15 at 8pm Central. That's literally 1 day before Halloween!

5) Hawaii Five-0

Usually, I'm against TV and movie reboots/remakes. Although, I really made an exception for this show. Hawaii Five-0 needs LESS Kono and MORE Catherine and Wo Fat.

The last 2 seasons of Hawaii Five-0 bored me to tears. It may sound harsh to say, but Kono is NOT an interesting character on this reboot. Is it just Grace Park as the character or is it the bad writing? I don't know.

Actually, Hawaii Five-0 always had ridiculous writing. I believe CBS hasn't canceled this reboot because it's more of a platform for celebrities. That's along with Alex O'Loughlin and Daniel Dae Kim as "eye candy."

(Most women watch it for Alex. Grrr!)

As I was saying, Kono is NOT an interesting character. She is the most boring character on H5-0. Maybe if Nikita's Maggie Q. was Grace Park's replacement, Kono would be more interesting.

I hope this new season of Hawaii Five-0 is more entertaining and doesn't center around Kono and The Yakuza. The show returns on Friday 9/25/15 at 8 pm Central.

6) Sleepy Hollow

Last but SURELY not least is Sleepy Hollow. It is fantastic to see more minorities casted as main characters in Horror/Supernatural TV shows. This definitely applies, when interracial couples and sexual tension are included.

What female viewer doesn't love Tom Mison as Ichabod Crane? Grrr!

I'm naturally biased, since I've always had a thing for brunettes, especially brunettes with long hair. Yes, you all know my type now.

Moving along, I hope this season of Sleepy Hollow is as good as the last 2 seasons. Hopefully, we do NOT have to look at Katrina. She annoys me just as much as Juliette from Grimm. Those are 2 sickening characters, that need to die and stay dead.

I believe Katrina represents Hurricane Katrina. Have you ever noticed, that every time the tramp's involved in something, there's bound to be destruction? If not, I have. That's besides Katrina being a cock and twat blocker.

Yes, you read the last sentence correctly. I want to see Abbie and Ichabod as a couple. Otherwise, I will settle for Abbie and Hawley.

Last season, I sensed a loved triangle forming with Abbie, Ichabod, and Hawley. Hopefully, the writers will do some more exploring with these 3 characters. Sleepy Hollow returns on Thursday 10/1/15 at 8pm Central.

In case you're wondering, which Friday night show I will watch on TV, it's Grimm. I'll watch Hawaii Five-0 on Hulu.

Chiller TV Beats Adult Swim To The Punch By Grabbing Devil May Cry

How's it going my gumdrops? It has been several months, since the last time I actually posted a blog on Blogger. Most of my content can be found on the official It's Not All Gumdrops & Unicorns website.

I blog over there at least twice on the weekends for Song Saturday and Cartoon Sunday. These last 2 weeks, I have been updating my reviews for Christmas Slashers and Horror Anime.

Speaking of Horror Anime, Chiller TV recently started airing Horror Anime, again. Many of us viewers are excited about it. In fact, Chiller TV's Anime Wednesday block appears to be a hot topic on Adult Swim's message board. What amazes me about some of those posters is that they seriously believe, that Chiller TV is new.

It is somewhat understandable why they would assume that Chiller TV is a new network, if they have never had Dish Network or Direct TV. Those are the only 2 providers, that carry Chiller TV.

Over 2 years ago, I posted a rant blog on Xanga 1.0 about Chiller TV's programming. I transferred this same blog below to JournalHome.com, last winter.

http://www.journalhome.com/RealistMe/1002103/chiller-tv-or-not-so-chiller-tv.html

Since the time I posted that blog 2 years ago, my views about Chiller TV really haven't changed. However, I'm glad that the network decided to re-air Anime. If you have been following my blogs on the official It's Not All Gumdrops & Unicorns website, you should recall, that I posted a Cartoon Sunday blog last Sunday about Chiller TV and Tokyo Majin.

Cartoon Sunday: Tokyo Majin

The fact that Chiller TV beat Adult Swim to grabbing Devil May Cry has me reeling. Since the time Adult Swim re-branded its Anime block on late Saturday nights and early Sunday mornings as "Toonami," I have been saying for the last 3 years, that Devil May Cry should be airing on "Toonami."

Instead, the Toonami Team bought Deadman Wonderland and other shows. 2014 was the most that I ever watched Toonami. Surprisingly, Adult Swim grabbed Hellsing Ultimate, last fall.

Not that I hate every Anime Adult Swim airs, but I can't sit through watching most of the network's shows in general.

What are the chances of Adult Swim snatching more of Syfy and Chiller TV's sloppy seconds for Anime?

Last Wednesday, I told some Adult Swim posters that I'm currently watching Chiller TV's entire Anime Wednesday block. This is something I could never say for Cartoon Network and Adult Swim's Toonami.

I may sound condescending for saying this, but Cartoon Network and Adult Swim mostly pander to Shonen Jump Action Anime Tards. Both networks have been for the last 10-20 years. This is partly why the casual viewers are unaware of other genres and sub-genres, that aren't Shonen Jump Action Anime.

Before last week ended, I politely asked Adult Swim's main moderator, if he could add at least 1 of our Chiller TV's Anime Wednesday threads to Adult Swim's Featured Topics. Of course, our moderator ignored me. Then again, he pays selective attention when he isn't randomly banning posters for defending ourselves against trolls.

Why You Should NOT Join Adult Swim's Message Board

If our main moderator wasn't so condescending and ornery, more Adult Swim posters would have some respect for him. Adult Swim posters and moderators can leave other posters with bad impressions of them. Generally speaking, if the people at Adult Swim didn't have such attitude problems, more veteran posters would probably stay and new posters would join.

The network is already a heaping pile. Anytime Chiller TV's Anime Wednesday block has a more entertaining block than Adult Swim's Toonami, that speaks volumes. Granted, both Chiller TV and Adult Swim have their flaws like every other network. Although, if Chiller starts airing better Anime than Toonami, Adult Swim will be up Shit Creek without a paddle and will lose another portion of its Anime fans.

Before the Toonami re-branding 3 years ago, Adult Swim aired better Anime with more variety and wasn't as niche as today. If Adult Swim continuously allows other networks with lower budgets to defeat them, more Anime fans will look forward to Chiller TV's Anime Wednesday instead of Adult Swim's Toonami.

Why You Should NOT Join Adult Swim's Message Board

How's it going my gumdrops? I meant to post another blog on Blogger much sooner, but I have been extremely busy with my own website, It's Not All Gumdrops & Unicorns. This is along with juggling my online presence on several other sites. Adult Swim is only naming 1 example.

Most of my friends/subscribers on facebook, Blogster, and Horror-Punks already know, that I have been a poster on Adult Swim, since last August. Some have considered joining and I said, "No! You will regret it." You may be sitting down, scratching your head, and asking "Why not?" Here are some questions you should ask yourself before considering Adult Swim:

Do you like...

  • walking on eggshells?
  • being treated like a criminal?
  • being accused of being a troll?
  • being psychoanalyzed to pieces?
  • being treated like a verbal punching bag?
  • being politically correct every nano second?
  • getting rape and death threats?
  • constantly looking over your shoulder?
  • people insulting every show or movie you enjoy?
  • political oppression, oppression in general, and censorship?
  • whenever people always feel the need to put you in your place?
  • the thought of always being banned every time you defend yourself against assholes and trolls?
  • Did you enjoy being an outcast in high school?

If you answered no to at least 1 of these questions, you should not join Adult Swim's message board. There are SOME nice posters. However, there are also shitty posters. These are the following reasons why you should not join Adult Swim:

Reasons Why You Should NOT Join Adult Swim's Message Board:

* No Blocking- Adult Swim doesn't have a block feature. Most blogging and social media sites have a "Block" button, which makes it easier for assholes and trolls to appear as "invisible" on your screen. Adult Swim does have an "Ignore" button. Too bad it no longer works because there are assholes I would personally LOVE to block.

* Hijacking- The topic of the thread doesn't matter. Regardless if it's a positive or negative thread, assholes and trolls love hijacking another poster's thread. The hijacking is usually done to create arguments and sometimes to spout death threats. I've gotten a few death threats by a skanky, narcissistic sociopath.

* Terrible Communications/Social Skills- The remaining veteran Adult Swim posters highly lack social skills; They don't know how to socialize or communicate. Their idea of socializing is being verbally abusive towards other posters.

* Begrudgment- Some posters are quick to begrudge other posters for their success. Some have an inferiority complex and are close-minded to anyone the moment they assume that other poster(s) believes he/she is superior to everyone else because of his/her accomplishments. This most definitely applies towards website and business owners.

Rather than taking action and improving their own lives, some posters would rather demonize and ostracize another poster. In a nutshell, they are "haters." Most Adult Swim posters dislike business owners and love demonizing them because they were brainwashed to hate businesses in general by the media.

Then again, Adult Swim is a brother network of CNN.

* Game Of Cliques/Alliances- Some veteran posters play both sides of cliques. I always love whenever a friend is in the center of 2 friends, who dislike each other. The friend in the middle will pretend to be "neutral," even though he/she already decided who's side to be on. This usually leads to ostracizing the other so-called "friend."

* The Blame Game- Some remaining veteran posters are quick to play The Blame Game. Rather than accepting their own faults, Adult Swim posters only want to blame 1 or a few other posters for their own problems, that they helped create. Most of them are their own worst enemies yet they still love finger pointing.

* Pissing Contests- The remaining veteran posters regularly hold pissing contests over politics and cartoon ratings in the most active sections of the site. 2 of the most active sections are Babbling and Toonami. Adult Swim's message board mostly consists of grown men fighting over politics like they are on CNN. Otherwise, there are Toonami Tards fighting over Shonen Jump Action Anime ratings rather than sitting down and enjoying their favorite Anime. Some of them have severe mental and behavioral problems and love wreaking havoc for other posters.

* Persecution- Veteran posters are usually quick to persecute new posters and assume they are recurring male trolls. I joined Adult Swim last August. In all my years of being an Internet user, I have never felt so unwelcome to ANY site. That was until I joined Adult Swim.

I currently belong to several other websites. As toxic as some of those sites can be, at least new posters aren't treated like an inconvenience, if not a criminal.

Adult Swim's message board makes other websites look like a trip to Disneyland.

* Crooked Moderation- The moderators treat posters like an inconvenience rather than solving the problems. In order to cope with racism, misogyny, rape/death threats, and trolling in general, posters have to either ignore it, or jump ship. Adult Swim's moderators are the equivalent of cops, that turn blind eyes to the corruption. Instead of moderators enforcing Adult Swim's board rules, posters get a slap on the wrist for bad behavior by only getting temporary bans. Otherwise, there is a double standard and the moderators will justify it.

* Multiple Identities- The remaining veteran posters create different poster names out of sheer boredom. I still don't understand the point of randomly creating multiple accounts, when they haven't been banned UNLESS it is to only rig polls and troll other posters. They really do rig polls and troll in aliases.

* Censorship- Adult Swim is a HIGHLY censored message board. Even though the network has "Adult" in its title and posters literally have their own dick pics floating around in cyber space, the message board and its programming are highly censored. People only preach about Freedom Of Speech, whenever it's convenient.

All the while, those same Adult Swim posters are oppressive of others. Most posters can dish it out, but can't take it. They'll be quick to lecture someone about not being "politically correct," when they're not exactly the most respectful of anybody. I spend more time walking on eggshells for Adult Swim posters than anywhere on and offline.

There are business meetings and sports bras, that are more comfortable and entertaining than posting on Adult Swim. I can only imagine some Adult Swim posters going on dates and being as boring as watching paint dry. Or as uptight and uncomfortable as a Super Wedgy.

* Turnover Rate- Adult Swim has a high turnover rate with posters. Most veterans grew tired of the negativity on the site and left. This is especially when it is impossible to have a fun thread meant for everyone. At least 1 asshole hijacks it only to start fights with another poster(s). This depends on whether the fight is with the creator of the thread, or someone else in it.

* Suicide Rate- Adult Swim has a suicide rate among posters. Before and during the time I joined the forum, there was already a history of some veteran posters being suicidal and committing suicide.

I don't have an actual percentage. However, there were at least a handful.

Some of those same suicidal posters threaten to commit suicide today.

* Social Networking Abuse- Some veteran posters treat Adult Swim's forum like it's their personal facebook status update. There is at least 1 morally corrupt/narcissistic sociopathic poster, who uses Adult Swim's forum like she's on facebook.

She brags about all the Johns she's met and had sex with via Tinder.

* Limited & Opportunistic Humor- Some remaining veteran posters lack a sense of humor UNLESS they're trolling other posters. Adult Swim posters mostly revel in acting like rude, belligerent, chastising, and self-righteous trolls. Putting each other in their places mostly amuses them and their colluding friends. 1/2 remaining posters no longer watch shows on Adult Swim. Although, they will nit pick and psychoanalyze plots and characters to pieces.

* Cyber Ghost Town- Adult Swim's forum is on life support. Sane people should NOT join the site because the remaining posters already want to leave it or witness the shutdown. Most sane people don't have the time, energy, and patience to deal with grown men and their childish antics, while simultaneously lecturing other posters about being "politically correct" and arguing over shows.

Ask yourself, "Why is the divorce rate constantly soaring?" If you say, "It's because people don't have time for bullshit," apply that same answer to Adult Swim's message board.

All in all, it's much better to remain an Adult Swim viewer than being a poster. Most of the regulars waste time nit picking and finger pointing at everything and everyone. Do NOT join Adult Swim. If you do, you will regret it even more because you CANNOT delete your account.

It's Not All Gumdrops & Unicorns: Q&A #2

How's it going my gumdrops? As I already said in the last blog, I have been updating 2 of my Q&A blogs on my website, It's Not All Gumdrops & Unicorns.

Here is the previous Q&A blog, in case you missed it:

It's Not All Gumdrops & Unicorns: Q&A #1

This next Q&A blog was originally published on September 23, 2014, which was It's Not All Gumdrops & Unicorns' 1-year anniversary.

How's it going my gumdrops? Today makes it officially 1 year, since I launched It's Not All Gumdrops & Unicorns. I created this website, when I was still helping my uncle with his website's content. The content I wrote for him was never used.

Some of you from Xanga 1.0 and Blogster remember, that his shrew lied, set me up, and got me fired. Medusa claimed I was NOT doing my jobs. Yes, I pluralized "job" because he and I were the only people managing his company, until she destroyed it.

Anyway, I have my 2nd Q&A blog ready for you all to read. Your questions are in green and my answers are in orange. I hope you're pleased with my answers!

It's Not All Gumdrops & Unicorns Questions & Answers:

Richard: Are you a cat or a dog person?

Answer: I'm a dog person.

My last dog (Lexi) was a Doberman/Rottweiler Mix. We had to put her to sleep 10 years ago because she was becoming vicious. In fact, I went to pet Lexi and she grazed my left temple. My grandfather also returned for an in-home hospice my college junior year. Lexi's vicious temperament would've made problems worse.

Mimikoko: With your love of music, did you ever try to learn a musical instrument(s) or sing?

Answer: When I was growing up, I was always required to sing in school concerts. By the time I was in middle and high school, I always ended up taking choir. In middle school, it was required to either take choir, or band.

I wanted to take guitar lessons but there weren't enough students for the sign up. Therefore, the class was dropped. I never had a chance to practice playing my old electric guitar.

My electric guitar was bought for my 6th Christmas and had '80s Metal written all over it. It was black, shiny, and V-shaped. It was ruined in a basement flood at our last house ~16-17 years ago.

DJ Scott: Do you have any archives of past DJ work?

Answer: Unfortunately, no.

During 11-12 years ago, I never had a chance to do an on-air promo for All Things Frightening, either. There was so much chaos happening in my life, 10-12 years ago.

I juggled UW-Parkside's classes full-time, a radio show, being a part-time student at Carthage College, and other people's issues. This was along with post 9/11 racism. Post 9/11 racism was a major contributor to my own problems. I was just lucky if I could sleep.

Anyway, had my original boss stayed, I believe my promos would've been recorded. We already bonded over some Type O Negative.

DanniDarkness: Will you keep the Halloween colors? I really like them!

Answer: Thank you, Danni! I'm glad you enjoy my latest scenery! I actually changed it on September 1st rather than October 1st. I have It's Not All Gumdrops & Unicorns decorated for Halloween.

This current scenery will stay, until November.

I love to change my scenery with the seasons and holidays. Thanksgiving will be coming up next!

Jesse Steele: Which states have you visited in the USA? Also which states did you like visiting the most? Are there any states in the USA you would like to visit? If so, why?

Answers: Since my family used to always take road trips, I've visited quite a few states.

Illinois is next to Wisconsin (my state). I've also visited Indiana, Michigan, Ohio, Pennsylvania, New York (we had to drive through New York to get to Canada), and Delaware.

Most of my relatives live in Detroit, Michigan. I'm amazed the entire city of Detroit isn't my family.

I really enjoy visiting Arlington Heights, IL because it has a lot of Japanese companies and stores.

I haven't been on a Japanese field trip in 11 years. I started going on those field trips, when I was in 7th grade because my Japanese classes always went. By the time I was a college junior, I still went on Japanese field trips to Arlington Heights with my classmates. We always rode in coach buses, when I was a teenager.

Reaper69: Don't you think it's a bit hypocritical of those, who forbid Metal for it's horror and gore, but don't think there is any problem with the most grotesque of films. Art is art, is it not?

Answer: Yes, that is hypocritical.

We watch violence on the news, TV shows, and movies daily yet angry soccer moms and media watchdog groups are quick to condemn Metal. I've noticed over the last decade, that most Horror movies have Metal soundtracks.

Horror and Metal go together much like PB&J, salt and pepper, etc.

You want to know something even more hypocritical?

Last year, I bought a Halloween decoration for my office desk. My decoration is a witch house in the woods with pumpkins, skulls, crosses, bats, and a witch. She resembles the witch from The Wizard of Oz and she's making her brew. My uncle had no problem with me having it.

Then, 3 days before Halloween, he stormed into the building claiming, that his shrew flipped her shit over my Halloween decoration. They supposedly do NOT celebrate Halloween. I told him to his face, that Medusa was a hypocrite. This is the same shrew, who reads all those STEPHEN KING NOVELS and watches MORE Horror than I do.

Meanwhile, she goes to their church and wears this HUGE, sanctimonious, facade as a Christian woman. I told my uncle and the rest of my family, that Medusa only had a problem with my decoration because she saw HER OWN reflection in that witch. I'm just calling a spade a "spade." You know what I mean?

Marquis DeBlood: Glad to have you aboard! And congrats on your anniversary!! You seem to enjoy your Anime and are very particular about certain shows and what naught... What would you consider to be the best Anime series out there and why?

Answer: Thank you very much! I'm glad to have support from the Horror-Punks Community.

There's no simple answer because Anime has such a broad range of sub-genres. I enjoy Comedy, Action, Mecha (Mecha is still a part of Action except mostly war themed), Mystery, Romance, Horror, etc. Each Anime sub-genre caters to both genders, sexual orientations, and age ranges.

I enjoy the darker and lighter themed Anime titles. I really enjoy NANA.

NANA is like an animated soap opera, which mostly revolves around music, rival bands, and romance. The series has Music, Comedy, Romance, and Drama in it. There's even a love triangle/paternity test storyline.

NANA is completely different from the stereotypical Shonen Jump Anime, that is marketed mostly towards the teenage boy. NANA's mostly marketed toward young women, who love music and romance.

Speaking of music and romance, there is another Anime about music and romance, that is mostly marketed toward men. Detroit Metal City is similar to Adult Swim's Metalocalypse. However it is mostly about this guy, who lives a double life as a musician.

The protagonist fronts this Death Metal band and is forced to live a notorious facade of supposedly killing and raping his parents. In reality, he is a nerdy Japanese guy, who loves writing Swedish Pop Music.

I really enjoy NANA and Detroit Metal City because they are both romance and music oriented, which is very rare in Anime.

Amanda's Questions:

1) I know you have a minor in Creative Writing but what brought you to writing Horror? Was it derived from your interest in Japanese culture and the language or is that a stereotypical cliché of Japan?

2) When, you joined the Adult Swim group, you wrote on it being 'fascist' (my interpretation) and chauvinistic. I am NOT asking you your political views (LOL) but I'd be interested in what your perception is of the politics surrounding the shows on Adult swim.

3) You were also a Radio DJ, would you do it again if you could?

My Answers:

1) I actually started writing my own Short Horror Stories in 3rd grade.

My elementary school teacher at the time gave our class subjects to choose from throughout each month.

When it was October, we had to select a topic everyday and write Short Halloween Stories using that specific topic.

My elementary school teachers in general always loved, that I could take a simple topic and write a story about it. The more I think about it, I have been a Creative Writer for most of my life.

2) Adult Swim appears to be in a bigger rut than I realized.

I always knew the network had problems pleasing their main target audience (men). It's mostly spin. For example, the Toonami block is mostly Shonen Jump Anime and the titles are mostly from Funimation Entertainment.

There are several other Anime companies and sub-genres, that Adult Swim overlooks.

I am glad there have been more Seinen Anime titles with women as the leading characters. However, the network still fails to acknowledge its female audience.

I've read some of the female YouTubers' complaints about Toonami not airing any Shojo Anime. Adult Swim only wants to air Sailor Moon's reboot, which is the most irksome. I don't hate Sailor Moon. Although, it's NOT the only Shojo Anime to ever be released from Japan.

I think the main reason why the male audience wants to watch Sailor Moon so badly is because it has lesbian characters in it.

I'm not opposed to watching GLBT shows. It's just that most of us know there's a perverted double standard, when it comes to accepting lesbians.

In addition, the social atmosphere on Adult Swim's forum is mostly belligerent, territorial, misanthropic, and unwelcoming. There are some nice posters on the forum but the atmosphere rivals YouTube.

It is almost impossible to have a civil conversation without someone instigating a fight. Also, some veteran posters treat new posters like criminals. Rather than trying to learn more about a new Adult Swim poster, they assume THE WORST because the site is already swarming with trolls.

You have to prove yourself MUCH harder to them, in order to like or accept you. I believe the constant arguments, negativity, psychoanalysis, animosity, inferiority complex, and territorial behavior drove away their newer and older posters. That's besides degrading other posters. There is no respect for each other, including the moderators.

3) Lastly, I would love to be a Radio Show Hostess/DJ again.

I've applied to local radio stations throughout my 20's and they never called back. Regarding radio stations today, they only want to air dated and highly overplayed songs. That's when they're not airing the worst American Top 40 songs in existence. With the way technology is constantly advancing, more people will continue to podcast.

When I hosted All Things Frightening 11-12 years ago, I never heard of podcasting. Our college radio shows were heard both locally and online. I predict that sooner or later, traditional radio stations will become obsolete.

This concludes my Q&A on It's Not All Gumdrops & Unicorns. I want to thank my loyal friends/subscribers from Xanga 1.0, Blogster, and Horror-Punks.com for always liking and sharing my content! You don't know how much I appreciate it.

Since I mentioned Detroit Metal City, I'll leave you with the live action music video/theme song. Once again, thank you!
