Cartoon Sunday: Foamy The Squirrel Rants About Bullies

How's it going my gumdrops? Yesterday, you may recall that I mentioned last week being rough both on and offline. In regards to cyber space, an Adult Swim poster "peacefully" died in his sleep, during the middle of last week. Some of his friends and other posters have been grieving over his death, whereas some choose to be malicious.

In fact, my number 1 slanderer on Adult Swim went as far as to name drop a racist troll, that he claims the dead poster was supposedly friends with. I don't know if that is really true, considering that it's coming from a slanderous poster, who continues to slander me on Adult Swim. When that dead poster was still alive last year, my slanderer called him "an asshole." Therefore, it's a matter of considering the source, which happens to be a highly glorified slanderer and megalomaniac with a God Complex.

This is along with the fact, that same glorified slanderer continues to down vote troll me and other Adult Swim posters. In case you have NOT already, I suggest reading last year's blog about why you should not join Adult Swim.

Why You Should NOT Join Adult Swim's Message Board

Since we're on the topic of Adult Swim, it has been confirmed that a new Seinen SciFi Action Anime called Dimension W will be replacing Akame ga Kill! on the network.

Toonami's Dimension W Promo (2016)

It will premiere next Saturday at 11:30 pm Central, which is right before Parasyte -The Maxim-. Right now, I cannot comment on Dimension W because I have not watched an episode of the series. However, the promo makes it appear to be interesting.

I just hope this new show is NOT complete hype. Adult Swim is skilled at pandering to a certain group of fans, which are Action Anime fans. I have said it before and will say it again, there is more to Japanese animation than Action Anime.

Hopefully, it's something worth watching because I really do NOT like every Action Anime Adult Swim airs. They have always been a hit or miss, whenever it came to airing shows in general. As of right now, I only know that Dimension W is being simulcasted both in Japan and here in the United States on Adult Swim. The series premiered in Japan on January 10, 2016 and it will premiere on Adult Swim on February 27th.

Since today's blog is mostly about Adult Swim, let's return to a previous topic. Earlier, I mentioned that I was being slandered on Adult Swim's forum by the same poster, who continuously down vote trolls me and shat in a dead poster's memorial thread.

That exact same poster is someone, who pretended to be my friend, when I originally joined Adult Swim nearly 2 years ago.

Last year, that Adult Swim poster was also a member of my website. After I removed him TWICE for lying, backstabbing, selling me out to his crazy so-called "friend" at the time, and getting me banned on Adult Swim, he attacked me through my contact submissions form and made libelous claims about me being another poster he's had problems with in the past.

My frenemy knows it's a bald face lie yet he continues to slander me around Adult Swim.

The worst part is that Adult Swim's moderators condone his trolling and slandering; There's mostly social politics on the network's message board, which is why so many have left. That's not including suicidal posters.

As much as I hate to say it, posters who know the truth and choose NOT to confront him about slandering me are just as guilty as he is. Some do want me to stay on Adult Swim but they don't act like it. If they did, they would show it.

Continuously slandering and anonymously down voting an adult poster on Adult Swim's forum is a perfect example of adult cyber bullying/trolling. Speaking of bullies, I have another Foamy The Squirrel short. In this short, Foamy The Squirrel rants about school bullies and gives unorthodox strategies about how to handle bullying.

Cartoon Sunday: Strike The Blood

Strike the Blood Volume 1.jpg

On another note, Happy Birthday to the owner of, Lord Marquis DeBlood! I hope you put on your best birthday cape and flaunt those pearly fangs.

If you would love to learn more about our very own Lord Marquis DeBlood from Horror-Punks, there are links upon links in a previous birthday blog, that I published last year.

Song Saturday Birthday Special: Marquis DeBlood

Meanwhile, it's Cartoon Sunday. Trying to watch the Shonen Supernatural Action Anime, Strike The Blood was another challenge. If you read yesterday's Song Saturday blog, you may recall that I mentioned it, when I published my review about Kanon Wakeshima's Tsukinami album.

Song Saturday: Kanon Wakeshima's Tsukinami

Kanon Wakeshima's "Signal" was the 2nd ending theme song to Strike The Blood. After mentioning Strike The Blood yesterday, it started to pique my interest.

Just to let you know, I'm 4 years behind on most of Japan's Anime releases.

When you're busy with working, blogging, managing your own website, social networking both on and offline, forced to work at social events, having to help take care of disabled family members, etc. they take precedence over binge watching the latest Anime.

As I was saying, I had a difficult time trying to watch Strike The Blood last night. Allow me to say, that's media player sucks ass. The website's media player from 10 years ago was much better than the current media player.

Then again, Crunchyroll was NOT originally a legitimate Anime streaming website. Japan and the Anime Industry rode the founder's ass about it at an Anime Panel, 10 years ago.

Eventually, this led to Crunchyroll agreeing with TV Tokyo and other licensing companies to legally stream Anime with optional paying viewers. Since the time of that agreement in 2009, Crunchyroll's media player has been terrible. The company's media player is slightly better than CW's media player, which is by far THE WORST media player to ever watch a streaming show. Viewers complain about but it's NOWHERE near the CW's or Crunchyroll's media players.

I tried finding a higher quality version of Strike The Blood's pilot episode on YouTube but had no such luck. Trying to watch Strike The Blood in English subtitles via YouTube was blurry.

Today you have the option of either watching episode 1 via YouTube, or withstanding Crunchyroll's obnoxious commercial buffering, while possibly being interrupted by the commercials playing in the background, as you watch Strike The Blood. The fact that Crunchyroll's subtitles are larger and more visible than on YouTube is a positive.

Considering the fact that we're on the topic of Strike The Blood, having an understanding about the series would help. Just to warn Anime fans in advance, this Shonen Supernatural Action Anime is also a Dramedy Anime with some fan service and harem themes. That is along with vampires and demons.

Judging by episode 1, the fan service is pretty mild. It's not extreme like that God-awful Anime, Ikki Tousen. Don't even get me started on Ikki Tousen.

After I was finally able to watch Strike The Blood's episode 1 via Crunchyroll this morning, Kojou Akatsuki is making up tests over the summer. He lives in the Demon District of Itogami Island and is suspected of being the Fourth Progenitor Vampire.

On Kojou's way home from studying, he senses Yukina Himeragi. Yukina is a Sword Shaman for the Lion King Organization and attends Sakaki Academy Middle School. The Lion King Organization sent her to spy on Kojou and she must kill him, if he is proven to be dangerous.

So far, I like Strike The Blood. It looks like it has some substance to it. Granted, the series has some fan service but like I already said, it's nothing to the extent of Ikki Tousen.

Below you have the options of choosing between Crunchyroll's and YouTube's media players. Anyway, here is Strike The Blood for today's Cartoon Sunday.

Chiller TV Beats Adult Swim To The Punch By Grabbing Devil May Cry

How's it going my gumdrops? It has been several months, since the last time I actually posted a blog on Blogger. Most of my content can be found on the official It's Not All Gumdrops & Unicorns website.

I blog over there at least twice on the weekends for Song Saturday and Cartoon Sunday. These last 2 weeks, I have been updating my reviews for Christmas Slashers and Horror Anime.

Speaking of Horror Anime, Chiller TV recently started airing Horror Anime, again. Many of us viewers are excited about it. In fact, Chiller TV's Anime Wednesday block appears to be a hot topic on Adult Swim's message board. What amazes me about some of those posters is that they seriously believe, that Chiller TV is new.

It is somewhat understandable why they would assume that Chiller TV is a new network, if they have never had Dish Network or Direct TV. Those are the only 2 providers, that carry Chiller TV.

Over 2 years ago, I posted a rant blog on Xanga 1.0 about Chiller TV's programming. I transferred this same blog below to, last winter.
Since the time I posted that blog 2 years ago, my views about Chiller TV really haven't changed. However, I'm glad that the network decided to re-air Anime. If you have been following my blogs on the official It's Not All Gumdrops & Unicorns website, you should recall, that I posted a Cartoon Sunday blog last Sunday about Chiller TV and Tokyo Majin.

Cartoon Sunday: Tokyo Majin

The fact that Chiller TV beat Adult Swim to grabbing Devil May Cry has me reeling. Since the time Adult Swim re-branded its Anime block on late Saturday nights and early Sunday mornings as "Toonami," I have been saying for the last 3 years, that Devil May Cry should be airing on "Toonami."

Instead, the Toonami Team bought Deadman Wonderland and other shows. 2014 was the most that I ever watched Toonami. Surprisingly, Adult Swim grabbed Hellsing Ultimate, last fall.

Not that I hate every Anime Adult Swim airs, but I can't sit through watching most of the network's shows in general.

What are the chances of Adult Swim snatching more of Syfy and Chiller TV's sloppy seconds for Anime?

Last Wednesday, I told some Adult Swim posters that I'm currently watching Chiller TV's entire Anime Wednesday block. This is something I could never say for Cartoon Network and Adult Swim's Toonami.

I may sound condescending for saying this, but Cartoon Network and Adult Swim mostly pander to Shonen Jump Action Anime Tards. Both networks have been for the last 10-20 years. This is partly why the casual viewers are unaware of other genres and sub-genres, that aren't Shonen Jump Action Anime.

Before last week ended, I politely asked Adult Swim's main moderator, if he could add at least 1 of our Chiller TV's Anime Wednesday threads to Adult Swim's Featured Topics. Of course, our moderator ignored me. Then again, he pays selective attention when he isn't randomly banning posters for defending ourselves against trolls.

Why You Should NOT Join Adult Swim's Message Board

If our main moderator wasn't so condescending and ornery, more Adult Swim posters would have some respect for him. Adult Swim posters and moderators can leave other posters with bad impressions of them. Generally speaking, if the people at Adult Swim didn't have such attitude problems, more veteran posters would probably stay and new posters would join.

The network is already a heaping pile. Anytime Chiller TV's Anime Wednesday block has a more entertaining block than Adult Swim's Toonami, that speaks volumes. Granted, both Chiller TV and Adult Swim have their flaws like every other network. Although, if Chiller starts airing better Anime than Toonami, Adult Swim will be up Shit Creek without a paddle and will lose another portion of its Anime fans.

Before the Toonami re-branding 3 years ago, Adult Swim aired better Anime with more variety and wasn't as niche as today. If Adult Swim continuously allows other networks with lower budgets to defeat them, more Anime fans will look forward to Chiller TV's Anime Wednesday instead of Adult Swim's Toonami.
